The Dreaded STOMACH BUG

Last Friday afternoon while Chip and I were preparing to go to my parent's house for the night and then to Asheville, NC for our anniversary, Kade had a dirty diaper.  I took him to change him and it was diarrhea and smelled HORRIFIC!!! I had never smelled anything this bad from such a cute little boy!  He acted fine and seemed like his happy self!  That night he woke up in the middle of the night and had trouble sleeping...he actually spit up/threw up two times too!  I was so nervous and didn't want to leave him to go to Asheville, but he again was acting as if he felt just fine, but his appetite hadn't been the greatest.  The stinky diapers also continued!  Chip and I decided to go ahead and go and left him with my parents.  This was the first time he had ever stayed away from home without me...I had only left him 1 other time and that was at my house!  My parents were very excited!  Needless to say, every day since then he has had at least 1-2 STINKING TO THE HIGH HEAVENS diaper a day.  He also has not been sleeping like my little boy!  He USUALLY sleeps from 7pm to 7:30am, but last night he was up from 1am over and over!  Today I got worried that it might be more than just teething, so I took him to have his ears checked and to make sure he was fine.  Dr Anderson assured me that his ears were fine and that if he didn't eat his food that it was ok!  He said he probably had a little tummy bug or possibly it could be teething since he could see all 4 of his top teeth close to coming in.  Hope this passes soon!  NO MORE BUGS for my baby!!!
