I SEE PINK IN MY FUTURE!!!

Since finding out I was pregnant back in August, Chip and I have been anxious to find out the sex of our baby!  November 5th was the day we were to find out!  I was 17 weeks 6 days prego.  I woke up at 6:30am (BTW...I hate mornings) and my appointment wasn't until 10:30!  I just couldn't sleep!  I tried to get Chip to wake up too...but that wasn't happening! HAHA!  So once we got up, I drank 2 cups of caffeine, just to make sure the baby was awake and ready too!  Finally it was time for my appointment and the baby was wiggling all over the place.  The ultrasound technician did all the "boring" measurements first, and then finally the IMPORTANT stuff! LOL!  She started looking around and finally said...well it is looking like a girl.  I am thinking...WHAT DO YOU MEAN?  LOOKING LIKE A GIRL?  Can't you say...IT IS A GIRL...or IT IS A BOY!!!  She didn't seem so confident.  Needless to say, I didn't really have a reaction because I wasn't too confident in her choice of words atleast!  Then she said, we'll check it again before I am finished just to make sure...telling me she wasn't confident herself!!!  Chip said to the technician...you don't understand...we need to know with confidence...my wife is going to go out and buy all pink tonight!  LOL!  We have a room to paint and lots of stuff to buy if it is a girl!  HAHA~  You can see what was on his mind...how much this little girl was going to cost him!!!  So when she was finished, she said it was a girl!  Chip said...I am not even going to think about her wedding right now!  LMAO!  I still wasn't confident though...lol!  So Chip and I decided to wait until we got to talk to Dr. Taavon and have him give us an answer! :)  It seemed like it took him forever to get to us!  So when we went in his office, we asked him to tell us for certain and he said "without a doubt" that it was a GIRL!!!  We were so excited!!  Not to mention, all of the measurements, heart, kidneys and everything else looked perfectly healthy!  She was an 8 ounce bouncing little girl!  I can't wait to lay my eyes on her again...and especially when she gets here the end of March!!!  I AM HAVING A LITTLE GIRL!  We are so excited to complete our family with a beautiful little girl...I SEE LOTS OF PINK IN MY FUTURE!!!
