KADEMAN IS GROWING UP SO FAST!
I can't believe time has flown by so much! My little boy seems to be growing up before my eyes! It seems like just yesterday I found out I was going to be a Mommy! The past 3 weeks have been great! Kade is a perfectly healthy little boy! It does seem that he has a temper sometimes...but only when he wants something and you are too slow to produce what he wants OR if he is naked and cold! LOL!
Kade started spitting up more this past weekend. Yesterday it happened 2 separate times and a lot each time. This is not normal for him! He was really fussy too! I started wondering if he was developing colic or if he just wasn't feeling the greatest. We gave him a bath last night and he seemed to calm down and did much better after that.

He slept in his own bed (well his pack-n-play) all night last night and seems to be back to normal today! I am really hoping it is gone! I LOVE holding him...but when I had to hold him all day yesterday, I accomplished NOTHING! LOL! I also switched him back to liquid formula. We had started using powder formula more and more this past weekend, just because it was more convenient than heating up bottles every 2 1/2 hours! :) He hasn't spit up since I switched him, so we'll see if that was the cure! I am also having a harder time burping him and it seems that I pat and pat and never can get him to burp. I love his bottles...I am using the NEW TOMMEE TIPPEE bottles and they are awesome...but maybe too awesome??? It is like I want him to get no air while drinking, but I still want him to burp! LOL! I had been burping him 3 times per feeding but now I am only doing it twice, so we'll see!
We weighed him last night and he is now a whopping (LOL) 6 pounds 13 ounces. I am so happy he isn't having any trouble gaining weight! His cheeks and his belly are filling out but he still has chicken legs like his Daddy! :) I am just hoping he starts fitting in all his 0-3 month clothes soon! He is still in Preemie diapers too...because he doesn't have a butt! LOL! He has an old man wrinkly butt! :) He is going to hate me later in life for writing that! :)
Overall the past 3 weeks have been easier than I expected! I am blessed with a perfect little boy and husband that helps me more than I ever expected! I can't wait for him to grow a little more and the weather to stay warm so we can enjoy the beautiful outdoors together! This is going to be the best spring/summer ever! :)
