Here is a little update on Kade and Kalli since I haven't blogged in a while! We are so glad it is summer and the days are longer and warmer! We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at the beach the end of May! MiMi Kaye also got to join us!

 

Miss Kalli is growing so fast and her Daddy and I are pretty sure she is going to be an engineer when she grows up!!!  She opened a pop top can of chicken noodle soup last week ALL BY HERSELF! For months now, she has been opening locked doors with her hairbows (the metal part on the back of them fits perfectly into the slit on the doorknob!)  Kalli is also talking UP A STORM! I love watching Kade and Kalli have their own little conversations! It melts my heart seeing them get along and play together! Kalli always expects Kade to kiss her goodnight too...and she hides and he has to find her under her covers! :) She has also started to BITE! This is driving her Mommy CRAZY!!! It only happens every once in a while, but I am working to break this habit as quickly as possible! I think it is because she is teething her 2 year molars! These things are a nightmare!!! 2 down and 2 more to go! Kalli's favorite things in the whole world are her baby dolls! She sleeps with them, plays with them all day long, they go on trips with us and they sit at the table while we eat! We have had to remove all of the step stools out of the house because both kids love to climb on to things they shouldn't!

Kademan is such a sweet little boy! I am pretty sure he says "Mommy, I love you" at least 20 times a day! He loves to play is iPad and is actually really good at it!  His favorite game is Angry Birds! HAHA! Kade also loves to play outside and go for long walks, but he does NOT like to get dirty! The other night, Kade, Kalli and Daddy went for a walk while I ran errands and he fell in the mud and got his shirt dirty.  He came straight home and put it in the washer and hit the start button then took the water hose and washed his bike! LOL! Kade is usually the first one up in the mornings and he gets in our bed and snuggles with me! I LOVE this time with him! There is nothing more precious than snuggling with my babies!!! Last weekend, Kade actually started swimming (with floaties) all by himself! He swam the distance of the pool a few different times! He is getting good!  He has learned how to spit the water out when it gets in his mouth too! Kalli attempted this too and succeeded, except she drank a LOT more water than he did!!! Kade thinks that after his dinner every night that he should have ice cream! He gets this from his Daddy! :)
